Trials of St. Lucia is a downloadable expansion to Dante's Inferno feature an entirely new player character and online two-player co-op battle arenas.

For Trials of St. Lucia, I created and tuned the moves, projectile attacks, and combat mechanics for new player character Lucia.

Lucia was designed to be a versatile flying character extremely capable in air-to-ground and air-to-air combat. She can shoot homing energy beams from her empty eye sockets, explode in a wave of holy destruction, sweep enemies off their feet, and chain jump attack combos.

Above: awesome animator TJ Phan's portfolio of Lucia combat moves.

"Lucia moves with increased speed and has the ability to fly. It doesn't take any time at all to get familiar with her combos and tendencies.... I think Visceral did a great job of making her effective and fun to use." - DigitalChumps

"She’s not just a re-skin of Dante... Lucia’s a lot of fun to play" - GamesRadar

"When I was playing as the lady, the flight option was invaluable when I got overrun by metal babies and exploding creatures. When I was up in the air, it was a breeze to glide around and only a few enemies had the means to knock me down." - IGN

"...her emphasis on speed and agility gives her a unique feel. She can hover briefly in midair using her angelic wings, stab far away enemies with a quick-striking dash, and keep evildoers at bay with rapid-fire holy cross attacks." - Gamespot
